We Need Your Vote! The shelter is in desperate need of funding for medical, spay / neuter programs, adoption sponsorships, and items to help our homeless and abandoned animals in our community. Hours:  Sunday: Closed, Monday: Closed to the public, except for scheduled appointments to claim lost pets. No drop offs. Tuesday through Friday: open 9:00am to 4:30pm. Saturday: open 9:00am to 4:00pm

The St. Johns County Animal Control Pet Center is able to house, hold, and adopt stray and unwanted animals. We also have a Veterinarian who spays and neuters our adopted cats and dogs. We welcome the public to come and visit us. Whether you are looking for your lost family member or adding a new one, we are always delighted to have animal lovers come and visit the Pet Center!

  • Dog Grooming – $15.00
    Includes bath and nail trim only.
  • 1st Impound – $15.00
    Boarding per day – $5.00
    Processing – $10.00
  • 2nd Impound – $25.00
    Boarding per day – $15.00

  • 3rd Impound – $35.00
    Boarding per day – $20.00

  • Owner Surrender – $10.00 per pet over 6 months, and $30.00 per litter.
  • Owner Release Euthanasia – $25.00
  • Boarding under Quarantine – $10.00 per day
  • 10 day Quarantine/ Dangerous Dog – $100.00
    Boarding per day – $10.00
  • Dog Adoption – $35.00 male, $50.00 female (includes Spay /Neuter & Rabies Vaccine)
    Cat Adoption – $20.00 male, $30.00 female (includes Spay /Neuter & Rabies Vaccine)
  • Senior Citizen Fees (Must be 62 years or older)
