Adopt your new best friend at the Pet Center!

By adopting, you completely change a homeless animal's whole world for the better. You also help to end the homeless pet cycle and create room for another pet in need. Bonus: You get a new best friend. What could be better than that? See 10 Best Reasons to Adopt @ HumaneSociety.org

Pets of the Week

Adoptable Cat
Cordelia!

Cordelia (64568)
Hi there, I'm Cordelia! My right ear has had some trauma, but I think it makes me look quizzical and sagely. The injury is healed well with no worries. I'm a tucker- I like to sit on your lap, and tuck my head into your elbow and under your hand. I'm calm and happy. Eager for pets and very well behaved! I'm relaxed and accepting. I really like to be held and talked to. I am probably a lap cat in the making. But you can decide for yourself, as I also enjoy exploring my surroundings.

Adoptable dog
Ruby!

Ruby (64016)
The more time you spend with Ruby the more her shell opens up! She loves to play with toys, pull ones especially. Anything that she can chew on makes her happy, and the tougher the better. She plays hard for a short time and then needs time to recoop due to her heartworms. But once she's rested she's right back to getting your attention. Ruby is a sweet girl with love in her heart and she's happy to show it.
