Welcome to the GIS Map Mart, a free printable collection of our maps. The St. Johns County GIS Division prepares a variety of maps to support informed decision-making by county staff, agencies, businesses, and the public. These maps illustrate complex spatial analysis and GIS overlays, while portraying St. Johns County's intricate surroundings, communities, environment, and infrastructure. We are pleased to make these maps readily available to St. Johns County's citizens and businesses.

In 1999 Hurricane Floyd moved along the coast of Northeast Florida. As a Category 5 hurricane, it threatened our county and had a widespread effect. This map illustrates the actions and events within our county, and is a reminder of the danger of hurricanes.

Flood Plain Analysis for Community Insurance Ratings
The National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) uses a Community Rating System (CRS) to set flood insurance discounts. GIS was used to calculate the percentage of open space within the floodplain, as an indicator for floodwater absorption. The GIS analysis improved the CRS point value for St. Johns County, thereby giving residents a discount on their flood insurance premiums. This was one of two St. Johns County maps selected for the prestigious ESRI Map Book 2000, Applications of GIS.

Beach Renourishment Funding Application Map
This map was prepared for the Beach Renourishment Funding Application. This map shows several GIS layers including beach access points, public beach parking, area businesses, hotels, residential areas, along with evacuation routes, and aerial imagery. This map also contains a portion of an 1862 Chart of the St. Augustine Harbor, provided by the Library of Congress.
