Gail is our County Surveyor and oversees the day-to-day operations of the
Surveying and Mapping/GIS Divisions. Gail is always available to answer any
questions regarding Surveying and GIS issues. She also reviews proposed subdivision
plats for compliance with the St. Johns County Land Development Code and Florida
Statutes. |

As our Survey Coordinator, Scott manages our field crews and handles project scheduling. In addition Scott handles the research for in-house survey projects and assists with research of the survey record repository for request from the public and other professional surveyors and engineers. He also handles processing field data and quality assurance checks for county survey projects. Scott coordinates all survey and resource grade Global Positioning Systems (GPS) work in the field and in the office. Scott also works directly with the GIS Division to coordinate all base mapping control efforts. He also maintains the benchmark repository and handles requests for benchmark data.

Field Crew
St. Johns County presently has two - three person field crews. They handle
all in-house survey projects. They also periodically run bench loops to densify
the vertical control in the County. The crews provide support for all GPS survey
activities.
