Study

INTERA-GEC has been tasked by St Johns County to develop a list of environmentally and financially sustainable long-term solutions to maintain and stabilize the Summer Haven shoreline and flow of the river.

For each potential feasible solution, INTERA has been directed by St Johns County Board of County Commissioners to remain focused on, but not limited to, public benefits, extent of property protection, constructability, and probable costs and potential funding sources.

Summer Haven River Study Draft Report (77MB) and Summerhouse Draft Report (8MB) has been released to the public. The County will hold a public meeting with the report’s authors to allow the public to provide input.  Please check back here for updates or the Beach Brief newsletter.
