The Current Planning Section reviews all re-zoning, and major and minor modifications to existing Planned Unit Developments (PUDs), reviews all land development applications under the Development Review Committee, and also reviews land development applications for consistency with the Comprehensive Plan. The procedures and appropriate forms for the above applications can be found in the Development Review Manual.

Land Use Workshops

St. Johns County Planning and Zoning Division is proud to announce our new Land Use Workshops being offered quarterly to our Citizens, Professionals and Permit Applicants. These educational workshops will be held from 9am to 10am at the County Permit Center, 4040 Lewis Speedway, St. Augustine (Map). Participants will be guided through different land use scenarios to help them better understand how to navigate the St. Johns County website, how to understand the various Zoning Designations and allowable uses, as well as how to find the data needed to make better informed decisions regarding their property.
