Annual Easter Egg Hunt –  Parks & Recreation will host four Easter Egg Hunts this year for children ages 8 and younger. The first two will be Thursday, April 13 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Veterans Park, 1332 Veterans Parkway, St. Johns, and Palencia, 405 Palencia Village Dr., St. Augustine. Two additional Easter Egg Hunts will be on Saturday, April 15 at Treaty Park, 1595 Wildwood Drive, St. Augustine, and Al Wilkie Park, 6140 Main St., Hastings. Parents Bring your cameras for special photo opps with the Easter bunny at 10:30 a.m. and again after the hunt, and don't forget to bring a basket to collect the eggs!


Summer Camps 2017

Enrollment in the registration drawing closed March 17, 2017. The drawing will be held on March 24, 2017. You do not need to be present. Results of the drawing will be mailed out no later than April 1, 2017. The Parks & Recreation Department Camps are for children ages 5*-12 (*only five year olds that have completed kindergarten by the start of camp are eligible), and held at six locations in St. Johns County. Camps emphasize outdoor activities and are staffed by experienced, motivated leaders from within our community. Campers get to participate in a variety of activities including field trips, arts & crafts, and swimming. 2017 Just Tri It!

Join us for the 2017 Kids Triathlon on April 23, at 8 a.m. at the Solomon Calhoun Center! Children ages 5-14 can join in the fun and JUST TRI IT! This is a non-competitive event giving everyone the chance to participate in a Triathlon. The first 150 children to pick up their race packets will get a Just Tri It! t-shirt and every child that completes the race will get a medal for their accomplishment! Early Registration Ends February 28! Just Tri It!

If you are looking for a quality, affordable after school program, a youth basketball league, or a place for your high school student to get volunteer hours you've found it. Highlights

Field of Dreams – Located in NW St Johns county, this specially designed field gives mentally / physically disabled children the opportunity to wear a uniform and play baseball as a member of a team. Field of Dreams is a place where all our area's exceptional kids can meet on the field and play ball. What child does not dream of hearing the cheer of the crowd?
