TDC To Hold Category 2 Grant Workshops
The fiscal year 2011 St. Johns County Tourist Development Council grant cycle will begin the week of April 19th with two workshops scheduled for non-profit organizations interested in applying for programmatic and/or special event funding. Organizations which have not received TDC funding in the past five years are required to send a representative to one of the workshops.
The workshops will be held in the St. George Conference Room of the County Administration Building, 500 San Sebastian View, on Tuesday April 20th at 9:00 AM and again on April 22nd at 3:00 PM. Attendees should RSVP to Dena Masters, 209-4440 or at dmasters@getaway4florida.com.
Funds for the program come from visitors to St. Johns County who pay a tax on short-term accommodations such as hotels and campgrounds.

New TDC Members Appointed August 25th, 2009
The Board of County Commissioners appointed nine members to the Tourist Development Council at a special meeting on Tuesday morning.
