Restore St. Johns: St. Johns County Hurricane Housing Recovery Program
Registration for this program began on January 7, 2019. Completed registration forms were accepted through 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2020. Registrations received by mail must be postmarked prior to the registration closing date to be considered for assistance.
Registering for assistance through Restore St. Johns is a three-step process.
This is an initial screening process to ensure homeowners meet all the eligibility requirements. Potential applicants must and complete and submit the registration form. Restore St. Johns program staff will review the completed registration form and contact you with an eligibility determination.
If you are determined to be an eligible homeowner, you will be invited to complete an Assistance Application. A Restore St. Johns case manager will call you to schedule a personal consultation at the Restore St. Johns Office where you will bring supporting documentation to complete the Assistance Application. Your case manager will assist you as much as possible during the consultation. The goal is to make the application process easy and understandable.
Our program team will review Assistant Applications and supporting documentation to verify that homeowners meet all of the eligibility requirements for the program.
