About the St. Johns River-to-Sea Loop Trail
The longest multi-use loop trail in the Southeast is forming in Northeastern Florida. The 260-mile trail when completed will have nearly 40 miles passing through St. Johns County, the City of St. Augustine, and the City of St. Augustine Beach.
The Loop connects several major trail networks including the 3,000-mile East Coast Greenway which connects the entire eastern seaboard and the 250-mile Coast to Coast Trail linking Titusville to St. Petersburg. It is one of two regional trail systems identified on the Shared-Use Non-motorized (SUN) Trail Program eligible for targeted funding created by the legislature for the construction of regional trail systems that enhance mobility, property values and support tourism.
