Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (1)
Purpose of Committee: To review established policies and procedures, ordinances, land development regulations, and adopted local government comprehensive plan and recommend specific action or initiatives to encourage or facilitate affordable housing while protecting the ability of the property to appreciate in value.
Qualifications: Seeking applicants actively engaged in the residential home building industry.
Term: Members serve a term of four (4) years.
Meeting Schedule: This Committee meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.

Contractors Review Board (1)
Purpose of Committee To insure proper administration of contractor licensing and discipline of licensed and unlicensed construction workers.
Qualifications: Seeking licensed plumber. Applicants must be a resident of St. Johns County for at least two years prior to appointment. Members serve a term of four (4) years.
Meeting Schedule: This Board meets on the 4th Thursday of each month at 5:00pm in the County Auditorium, 500 San Sebastian View.

Fire Code Board of Appeals (7)  – 2 Regular & 5 Alternates
Purpose of Committee: To rule on matters relating to the Fire Code and its enforcement in accordance with NFPA Section 1.10.
Qualifications: Applicant must be a County resident. Seeking those with experience in one of the following: Engineering or architectural design; General contracting; Fire protection contracting; Building code enforcement; Legal.
Meeting Schedule: Meetings of the Board of Appeals shall be held at the call of the chair, at such other times as the Board of Appeals determines, and within 30 days of the filing of a notice of appeal.
