Reporting Vacation Rental Violations – State of Florida Executive Order 20-87 suspends the rental of vacation rental properties through April 30. In addition, vacation rentals are prohibited from making new reservations or bookings and shall not accept new guests for check-in for the duration of this order. To submit a vacation rental violation, please call St. Johns County Code Enforcement at 904.209.0734 or email codenf@sjcfl.us. Violations may also be submitted to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation at 850.487.1395 or by filling out an online vaction rental violation reporting form.

Property Tax Extension – The Governor has issued an executive order to extend the final due date for 2019 property tax payments.  www.sjctax.us

Tourist Development Tax Extension – The Department will waive the imposition of penalty and accrual interest for those taxpayers who collected tourist development tax in February of 2020 but were unable to meet the due date, if taxes are reported and remitted by March 31, 2020. Additionally, for taxpayers adversely affected by the COVID-19  outbreak, the Department will extend the due date to April 30, 2020 for the March 2020 tourist development tax reporting period. www.sjctax.us

SBA Disaster Relief Loan: loans up to the lesser of 12 months expenses of $2 million, 3.75% interest rate, no fees, up to 30-year terms. To apply, visit www.sba.gov/disaster/apply-for-disaster-loan

CARES Act Paycheck Protection Program: loans up to the lesser of 2.5 times average monthly payroll expenses or $10 million, up to 4% interest, no fees, 10-year term. For more information, visit www.sbc.senate.gov/public.
