Illegal Dumping

The Solid Waste Division encourages residents to reduce litter and illegal dumping in our communities by helping keep St. Johns County beautiful! St. Johns County's facilities and programs are designed to promote recycling; eliminate illegal dumping, and ensure the environmentally-sound management of Solid Waste.

Illegal dumping is the intentional dumping of solid waste on the county right-of-way in or on public or private property without the knowledge or consent of the property owner. It includes littering along the county right-of-way, which is illegal and very harmful to the environment.
