Lab tests show water is safe for consumption

(St. Augustine, FL – October 29, 2025) – A Retraction Notice has been issued to lift the original Precautionary Boil Water Notice for Villages of Vilano. The addresses affected include:

95 Vilano Road

The St. Johns County Utility Department has completed lab tests showing the water is safe for consumption. The boil water notice had been in effect since October 27th following a meter replacement.

Door tags were used to notify the residents affected by this Boil Water Notice Retraction. Citizens may call the Department’s Boil Water Notice Hotline at (904) 209-2731 for additional information or visit the Department’s website at www.sjcutility.us.

Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly (for example, people in apartments, nursing homes, schools, and businesses).
