2024 Summer Camp Lottery Now Open

The St. Johns County Parks & Recreation Department’s camps are for children ages 5* to 12 (*only 5-year-olds that have completed kindergarten by the start of camp are eligible), and held at four locations in St. Johns County. Registration for the 2024 Summer Camp Lottery is open from Feb. 26 through 5 p.m. on March 8. Follow the link below for the lottery.

January 19, 2024 – St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners Greenlights More Than $2.5 Million Investment in Treaty Park and Alpine Groves Park Improvement Projects

St. Johns County resident passes are $50, non-resident passes are $100 and ADA-accessible passes are $40. Passes are available through March 1, 2024.

January 17, 2024 – St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners Adopts Updated Beach Code Ordinance

The St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners unanimously voted to adopt an updated beach code ordinance, containing regulations for the operation of electric motorized vehicles, aircraft, and regular motor vehicles on beaches, at its regular Jan. 16 meeting.

Sole Striders

Sole Striders is a fitness walking group for all levels of experience that meets at the Solomon Calhoun Center (1300 Duvall St., St. Augustine) for a 2-mile walk with exercises in between. Sole Striders registration

REC13

All middle school teens are invited to Ketterlinus Gym (60 Orange St., St. Augustine) every third Wednesday of the month (excluding June and July) to hang out and with their friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and enjoy free pizza and drinks. School ID is required for admission. REC13 registration

Nature Book Club

Join us for a monthly book club centered around celebrating our natural areas. This club meets the third Wednesday of each month at one of our beautiful park locations. February’s book is Forever Island by Patrick Smith. Nature Book Club registration
