The St. Johns County Board of County Commission Meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays each month commencing at 9:00 a.m. in the St. Johns County Auditorium located at 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine, FL. The Board reserves the right to cancel and or change the meeting schedule as needed. Most Public Hearings for the County Commission will be advertised for 9:00 a.m. It will be left to the discretion of the BCC Chair as to the most appropriate time to break for recess. *Per Board Rule 4.102: The Board shall not hold a regular meeting on the first Tuesday of January or the first Tuesday of July. If you have any questions regarding the agenda please call County Administration at (904) 209-0530.

The event will be held in the FOL room at the Ponte Vedra Beach Library located at: 101 Library Blvd. – Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. 32082. The public is invited to attend.
It is anticipated that one or more St. Johns County Commissioners may attend this event.

On September 17, 2024, at 5:01 pm in the County Auditorium (500 San Sebastian View), the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners will hold their second and final required public hearing to adopt the Fiscal Year 2025 Millage Rates and Budget. The meeting will follow the procedure as prescribed by Florida Statute 200.065. The Fiscal Year 2025 Tentative Budget, as presented on September 3, 2024, totals $1,750,868,966.
The Board of County Commissioners will consider two motions (per Florida Statute 200.065):
- A motion to approve Final Millage Rates necessary to fund the Fiscal Year 2025 budget.
- A motion to approve the Fiscal Year 2025 Final Budget.
The Fiscal Year 2025 Tentative Budget Workbook will be used for this public hearing.

On September 3, 2024, at 5:01 pm in the County Auditorium (500 San Sebastian View), the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners will be presented with the Fiscal Year 2025 Tentative Budget, the first of two required public hearings to adopt the Fiscal Year 2025 Millage Rates and Budget. The meeting will follow the procedure as prescribed by Florida Statute 200.065. The Fiscal Year 2025 Recommended Budget has been updated to reflect numerous capital projects and grant activities that cross fiscal years; known as carryforwards, the Fiscal Year 2025 Tentative Budget reflects $535,147,474 in capital carryforwards, bringing the Fiscal Year 2025 Tentative Budget to $1,750,868,966.
The Board of County Commissioners will consider three motions (per Florida Statute 200.065):
- A motion to approve proposed millage rates necessary to fund the Fiscal Year 2025 budget.
- A motion to approve the Fiscal Year 2025 Tentative Budget.
- A motion to establish September 17, 2024 at 5:01 PM, in the County Auditorium, as the Second Public Hearing for the adoption of the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners Fiscal Year 2025 Budget.
