Living on a few acres workshops provided by University of Florida / Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences

This workshop series covers a variety of topics to help you and your small farm. Sponsored by St. Johns County Extension Services, University of Florida (UF), and Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS).

Location – Wind Mitigation Building, 3111 Agricultural Center Dr., St. Augustine 32092

Cost – $10 per class

Schedule – 3rd Thursday of the month, April 18-October 17, 6-7pm

  • May 16 – Backyard ponds
  • June 20 – Sheep & goats
  • July 18 – Backyard poultry – Backyard Poultry Workshop video
  • August 15 – Cool-season / wildlife forages
  • September 19 – Drones on the farm
  • October 17 – Cattle for the small farmer
