Lab tests show water is safe for consumption

Ponte Vedra, FL, Aug 9, 2025 – A Retraction Notice has been issued to lift the original Precautionary Boil Water Notice for Sawmill Lakes Blvd in Ponte Vedra. The addresses affected include:

128 to 179 Sawmill Lakes Blvd

The St. Johns County Utility Department has completed lab tests showing the water is safe for consumption. The boil water notice had been in effect since August 7th following a water main break.

Door tags were used to notify the residents affected by this Boil Water Notice Retraction.  Citizens may call the Department’s Boil Water Notice Hotline at (904) 209-2731 for additional information or visit the Department’s website at www.sjcutility.us.
