Primary Cause:  Fire line tap for business expansion

(St. Augustine, FL – May 15, 2024) – A planned outage will occur on 5/15 from 10 pm to 2 am followed by a precautionary boil water notice to allow for a fire line connection.

Under the Precautionary Boil Water Notice, all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes should be boiled first. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative bottled water may be used.

The Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until lab tests show that the water is safe to drink and a retraction notice is posted, which is typically a minimum of two days.
