West Augustine CRA, St. Johns County to Host 15th Anniversary Celebration for Solomon Calhoun Community Center

The West Augustine Community Redevelopment Agency Steering Committee, in partnership with St. Johns County Parks and Recreation, is hosting a 15th Anniversary Celebration for the Solomon Calhoun Community Center. This event will feature speeches from members of the CRA and other community leaders, a tour of the center, and information on programs that are offered.

Features of the community center include:

• A 24,000-square-foot community center located within walking distance of many residents of West Augustine.
• Full-size gymnasium
• Swimming pool
• Splash park
• Community rooms
• Sports fields

Brief comments regarding the center and community will be followed by tours of the facility. Refreshments will be served.

When: Wednesday, April 5, 2023

            11 a.m.-1 p.m.

One or more County Commissioners may be present at the event. The St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners will take no action at this event.
