St. Johns County Will Host Public Budget Workshops from May 8 to May 13

As part of St. Johns County’s Strategic Plan goal of building community trust, the public is invited to participate in the Budget Workshop Series for Fiscal Year 2026 held May 8 through May 13. All budget workshops will occur at the St. Johns County Administration Building, 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine. Each workshop will be broadcast live on the county’s TV channel, GovTV, at www.sjcfl.us/watch-govtv-live. A recording of each workshop is scheduled to be available through video-on-demand on that webpage under the Other Videos Archive within three days of the completion of each workshop.
Limited in-person public seating will be available in the San Sebastian Conference Room. Additional public seating to watch it live on GovTV will be available in the County Auditorium in the Administration Building.

After each workshop, the public can email their questions to budget2025@sjcfl.us.
Other key dates in the Fiscal Year 2026 process include:
- July 15, 2025, St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) Meeting: The county administration presents the recommended budget, and the BCC sets the tentative millage rates.
- September TBD, Public Hearings to adopt the budget.
