20th Annual St. Augustine Amateur Golf Tournament Coming to St. Johns Golf Club
Eighty-four players from around the U.S. and the world will compete December 5–7, 2025
The St. Johns Golf Club (4900 Cypress Lakes Blvd., Elkton) is getting ready to host the 20th Annual St. Augustine Amateur Golf Tournament from Friday, December 5, 2025, through Sunday, December 7, 2025.
The eighty-four players who make up the field of competitors for this year’s tournament, ranging from ages 14 to 38, were chosen from a record number of registrants. They come from 20 U.S. states and 10 different countries, and among the younger players is the entire five-man starting lineup of the Ponte Vedra High School golf team.
“We couldn’t be more excited at the opportunity for everyone in St. Johns County to come see this amazing roster of players compete at our course,” said Wes Tucker, Director of Golf at St. Johns Golf Club. “There’s a good chance some of them may become major names in professional golf, and you won’t want to miss the chance to see them up close.”
Net proceeds, generated through sponsorships, will continue to directly benefit First Tee – North Florida, a local youth development organization. The 2025 St. Augustine Amateur is expected to generate more than $25,000.
