County Encourages Use of Alternate Access Points to Beachwalk to Ease Traffic During CR 210 Widening Project

Motorists are reminded to use caution and follow posted signage
St. Johns County is encouraging drivers accessing Beachwalk to consider alternate access points in order to reduce congestion at the County Road 210 and Interstate 95 intersection during the ongoing CR 210 widening project.
While many drivers currently enter Beachwalk from the western access at Beachwalk Shore Drive, motorists are welcome to pass this intersection and make a downstream U-turn to stage within the eastbound CR 210 approach. Drivers can also use the eastern Beachwalk entrance as an alternative route.
These options are available to help minimize eastbound traffic delays and keep vehicles from stacking at the I-95 and CR 210 intersection.
The CR 210 widening project is part of the County’s ongoing efforts to improve roadway safety and efficiency in one of the fastest-growing areas of St. Johns County. Motorists are reminded to use caution in the construction zone and follow posted signage.
