State Road 16 Widening Project from International Golf Parkway to I-95 Public Hearing

Florida Department of Transportation – August 21, 2025
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) will host hybrid public hearings to discuss the proposed State Road 16 widening project from International Golf Parkway to I-95.
A virtual public hearing will be held Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025, beginning at 5:30 p.m., with a formal presentation and public comment period beginning at 6 p.m. Registration is available at www.nflroads.com.
An in-person public hearing will be held Thursday, Aug. 28, 2025, at the World Golf Village Renaissance, 500 South Legacy Trail, St. Augustine, FL 32092 beginning at 4:30 p.m., with a formal presentation and public comment period beginning at 6:30 p.m.
All participants, regardless of the platform they choose, will receive the same information on the proposed project and all comments received in-person, virtually, or electronically will be given equal consideration. While comments about the project are accepted at any time, please note that comments must be postmarked by Sept. 8, 2025, to be included in the formal hearing record.
As of Aug. 5, 2025, draft documents have been available for review and download on the project website at www.nflroads.com/SR16 and in-person at the St. Johns County Main Library, 1960 North Ponce De Leon Boulevard, St. Augustine, FL 32084.
