Anastasia Island Branch Library Temporarily Closing for Renovations Beginning Sept. 15

The Anastasia Island Branch of the St. Johns County Public Library System (SJCPLS) will temporarily close for renovations beginning Monday, Sept. 15, 2025. This project is anticipated to be completed in approximately two weeks, and the facility is projected to reopen to the public in early October.

During this closure, no items checked out from this location will be due, all holds for this branch will be extended, and impacted patrons will not accrue late fees. In addition, while the book drop will remain open and accessible to the public, donations will not be accepted at this location. Patrons who would like to pick up or use library services are encouraged to visit the Main Branch, located at 1960 N. Ponce De Leon Boulevard, St. Augustine, or the Southeast Branch, located at 6670 U.S. 1 S., St. Augustine.
