Commissioner Krista Jospeh Speaks at the West Augustine Cancer Ceremony

The West Augustine CRA Steering Committee hosted the Keep Calm and Walk for Cancer Walk and Cancer Ceremony.

On October 25, 2025, Commissioner Krista Joseph represented the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners at the West Augustine CRA Steering Committee Keep Calm and Walk for Cancer Walk and Cancer Ceremony. This community-focused walk is dedicated to raising awareness, honoring survivors, and supporting those currently battling cancer. It’s also a time to come together in hope, strength, and solidarity.

The walk started at Church of God in Christ and ended at Collier Blocker Park. Commissioner Jospeh participated in the walk and was a featured speaker at the ceremony. Her cancer was profiled in the story St. Johns County Board Chair Krista Joseph urges early screenings after shock diagnosis this month by the St. Johns Citizen.
