- Portions of International Golf Parkway (passes through Twelve-Mile Swamp)

Off Premise Signs
No billboards or off-premise signs are allowed within 600’ of the public right-of-way along either side of any road intersecting or abutting a designated scenic highway for a distance of 2500’ from the scenic highway, measured from the center line of the intersection except real estate signs as provided herein.
On Premise Signs
On-Premise Signs includes all commercial business and subdivision identification Signage and only may be designed as a Ground, Pole, Monument, Building, Canopy, Fascia Subdivision, Wall, and Window Sign.
Business Signage
Each business site shall be allowed 2 on- premise entrance signs, designed as a ground, monument or pole sign. The advertising display area shall be designed within the sign structure. The sign may be lighted internally or externally and all back lighting or appearance of lighting shall be white in color.
Entrance Signs for each individual business located within a multi-use complex shall be allowed additional store or business identification signage, not exceeding one sq. ft. per linear of store frontage. All back lighting or appearance of lighting shall be white in color.

size greater than 2 ½ ft. in diameter. - ROW: Right-of-Way
- Snipe Sign: Any Sign of any material, including paper, cardboard, wood or metal when tacked, nailed or attached in any way to trees, poles, stakes, fences or other objects where such Sign may or may not be applicable to the present use of the Premises upon which Sign is located.
- Scenic Highway: Any road or highway, so designated by the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners, the Federal or State government. At present, the only three
are William Bartram Trail (SR13 & CR13), portions of International Golf Parkway through 12 Mile Swamp & Race Track Road Signs. - Scenic Vista: Specific points and areas along a roadway that have beauty due to the natural environment topography, cultural & historic resources.

Residential Projects
Each subdivision, Mobile Home Park entrances and similar residential projects shall be allowed 2 On-premise entrance signs. Entrance signs may be incorporated into a wall, fence, landscape design, or other entrance feature. All back lighting or appearance of lighting shall be white in color. Window signs shall be legible only from the premises on which located or from inside the business. Window signs shall not be used for advertising messages, products, services information or direction.
General
Signs placed, painted or otherwise erected upon walls, buildings, canopies, and similar structures shall be consistent with and complement the building with respect to color, materials, and design. All back lighting or appearance of lighting shall be white in color.
