Handyman (Nonstructural) Business Tax Receipt

A local Business Tax Receipt is not a license to practice contracting!

It is a tax that is paid to conduct business within a county or municipality. Any work performed not on this list may need contractor licensure and permitting. Check with the Building Department PRIOR to beginning this work!

If you contract to perform work outside the scope of your Local Business Tax Receipt, you can be cited as prescribed by Law and fined up to $5000.
