Commissioner Joseph Speaks to Ponte Vedra Women’s Club

The Commissioner was invited by the club to provide an update on County projects in the Ponte Vedra area.

St. Johns County Commissioner Krista Joseph was invited by the Ponte Vedra Women’s Club to speak to the members about various projects happening in the Ponte Vedra area of the county. Commissioner Joseph provided updates on road projects, new parks, and other initiatives of the County’s Strategic Plan. One of the projects she spoke about was the recent ribbon cutting to celebrate the $2.1 million redesign of North Beach Park.

The Ponte Vedra Woman’s Club is a social and philanthropic organization dedicated to fundraising for local charities since 1970.  Based in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, the members come from all over the greater Jacksonville area, including both St. Johns and Duval Counties. The Ponte Vedra Woman’s Club is a 501(c)3 charitable organization run entirely by volunteers.  They work hard raising funds at our events throughout the club year, which runs through the end of May.  In the spring of each club year, their scholarship recipients are announced and selected charities receive their donations.  They have formed long-standing relationships with some of the charities that they work with. Details can be found on the Ponte Vedra Women’s Club website.
