Behind The SJCenes Radio Show Highlights Infrastructure Projects

Public Works Director Greg Caldwell was a guest of the radio show on WSOS.
On February 18, 2026, Greg Caldwell, Director of Public Works, was the featured guest on the County’s bi-weekly radio show called Behind the SJCenes hosted at WSOS. Caldwell shared details of the many capital improvement projects which include roads, parks and other major efforts to improve the infrastructure. St. Johns County successfully completed 61 capital projects in 2025 and has 59 additional capital projects scheduled to either begin construction or reach final completion in 2026. Together, these efforts represent more than $820 million in infrastructure investment across public facilities, public safety, parks and libraries, roadway improvements, utilities, land acquisition, coastal resiliency, and technology. He mentioned the Featured Projects webpage which has additional information on various projects for public works, utilities and coastal management. Infrastructure in one of the six priorities of the County’s Strategic Plan.
Behind the SJCenes is produced every 1st and 3rd Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. on WSOS 103.9, with a bi-weekly recap of the previous day’s Board of County Commissioner’s meeting and a featured guest interview for a live radio broadcast.
