Commissioner Joseph Speaks to Local Boy Scout Pack

Commissioner Krista Joseph was invited to share community services and other topics with the young leaders.
On February 2, 2026, St. Johns County Board of County Commissioner Krista Joseph, District 4 spoke with local Boy Scout pack 700 during their regular meeting held at St. Francis in-the-Field Episcopal Church.
Joseph was invited by Clayton Johnston, who serves as the Webelos Den Leader for Pack 700. He pack includes scouts from Palencia Elementary School, Pine Island Academy, Valley Ridge Academy, and Palm Valley Academy. As part of their rank requirements, the 4th grade Webelos Scouts are asked to meet with an elected official and learn directly from them about three core topics: why they chose to serve, how they were elected, and the key responsibilities of their office. This experience helps bring their citizenship lessons to life in a meaningful and memorable way.
Joseph share that she honored to have the opportunity to share her time and insight that would a lasting impact on the young leaders.
