On Sept. 29, St. Johns County will host a Town Hall at 6:30 p.m. in the County Auditorium, 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine. The Town Hall will provide information about Amendment 3 and its potential effects on the County budget.

St. Johns County has been preparing since May for the potential effects of proposed Property Tax Amendment 3, which will appear on the Nov. 3, 2026, General Election ballot. The County has created a dedicated webpage at sjcfl.us/amendment-3 with an overview of the proposed amendment, estimated effects on County revenue, information about the current allocation of property-tax dollars, and links to official sources.

The Development Review Committee (DRC) consists of a representative of each department/program responsible for participating in the review of development plan applications with the intent of providing information regarding development applications.  This meeting is held every Wednesday.

This meeting is open to the public, however, there is no public comment portion and is informational in purpose.

Board of County Commissioners Meeting

The St. Johns County Board of County Commission Meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays each month commencing at 9:00 a.m. in the St. Johns County Auditorium located at 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine, FL. The Board reserves the right to cancel and or change the meeting schedule as needed. Most Public Hearings for the County Commission will be advertised for 9:00 a.m. It will be left to the discretion of the BCC Chair as to the most appropriate time to break for recess. *Per Board Rule 4.102: The Board shall not hold a regular meeting on the first Tuesday of January or the first Tuesday of July. Industrial Development Authority

San Sebastian Conference Room – St. Johns County Administration Building

The primary purpose of the IDA is to issue tax-exempt bond financing for manufacturing facilities within the county. The IDA can also issue bonds for certain exempt facilities such as water & sewer projects, solid waste and hazardous waste facilities as well as bonds for tax-exempt 501 (C)(3) non-profit organizations.
