Ponte Vedra Beach Library

District 4 Commissioner, Krista Joseph, will be hosting a Community Meeting on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.  The event will be held at the Ponte Vedra Beach Library located at: 101 Library Blvd. – Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. 32082.    The public is invited to attend.

It is anticipated that one or more St. Johns County Commissioners may attend this event.

Board of County Commissioners Meeting

The St. Johns County Board of County Commission Meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays each month commencing at 9:00 a.m. in the St. Johns County Auditorium located at 500 San Sebastian View, St. Augustine, FL. The Board reserves the right to cancel and or change the meeting schedule as needed. Most Public Hearings for the County Commission will be advertised for 9:00 a.m. It will be left to the discretion of the BCC Chair as to the most appropriate time to break for recess. *Per Board Rule 4.102: The Board shall not hold a regular meeting on the first Tuesday of January or the first Tuesday of July. If you have any questions regarding the agenda please call County Administration at (904) 209-0530.

Tourist Development Council

The Tourist Development Council is required by the authorizing legislation to meet at least four times per year, but has chosen to meet more frequently. The meetings are held on the third Monday of the month in the County Auditorium at 500 San Sebastian View at 1:30 p.m.

Industrial Development Authority

The primary purpose of the IDA is to issue tax-exempt bond financing for manufacturing facilities within the county. The IDA can also issue bonds for certain exempt facilities such as water & sewer projects, solid waste and hazardous waste facilities as well as bonds for tax-exempt 501 (C)(3) non-profit organizations.
