County to Perform Critical Maintenance of Shore Drive Master Lift Station Overnight

On Thursday, March 21, from 11 p.m. until 6 a.m., critical repair work will be completed at the Master Lift Station located at 208 Shore Drive, St. Augustine. Residents in the area can expect some flashing lights and noise from machinery; however, no service will be disrupted.

In an attempt to avoid sewer service interruptions to our customers, this project can only be completed during low flow conditions, which typically occur after midnight.

The project includes the repair and installation of equipment along a section of a pressured sewer main located at the County’s Shore Drive Master Lift Station. A majority of the project is complete, and the work being done is to make the final connection to the pressurized main.
