Doug Crane Boat Ramp to Close for Maintenance Dredging
The ramp will be closed for around six weeks while waterway access is improved.
On October 26, 2026, St. Johns County will close the Doug Crane Boat Ramp (1039 Shore Drive, St. Augustine) for around six weeks for maintenance dredging.
All parts of the site will be off-limits, including the parking lot. After the ramp has reopened, work will continue in the staging area without impacting access to the ramp or the waterway.
Funding for this project was split between a FIND Grant and County funds.
