Primary Cause:  Stormwater project and water line conflict

 
(St. Augustine, FL– February 11, 2026) –
A planned outage will occur for the above area from 10 pm to 3 am on 2/11 to 12/2026 followed by a precautionary boil water noticed for the above addresses serviced by the St. Johns County Utility Department. 

Under the Precautionary Boil Water Notice, all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes should be boiled first. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative bottled water may be used.

The Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until lab tests show that the water is safe to drink and a retraction notice is posted, which is typically a minimum of two days.

Citizens may call our Boil Water Notice Hotline at (904) 209-2731 for updated information. Community emails and door tags were used to notify the public of the Boil Water Notice. Community emails and door tags will also be used once the notice is rescinded.
