Ponte Vedra, FL, May 5, 2026 – A planned outage will occur for the above area from 9 am to 4 pm followed by a precautionary boil water noticed for the following addresses serviced by the St. Johns County Utility Department.

Primary Cause: Water valve installation and replacement

Under the Precautionary Boil Water Notice, all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes should be boiled first. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative bottled water may be used.

The Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until lab tests show that the water is safe to drink and a retraction notice is posted, which is typically a minimum of two days.

Door tags, neighborhood signs and Alert St. Johns calls were used to notify the public of the Boil Water Notice. Door tags, neighborhood signs and Alert St. Johns calls will also be used once the notice is rescinded.

The addresses affected include: 2 and 6 Fairfield Blvd 876, 886 and 880 A1A North 150 Valley Circle The St. Johns County Utility Department has completed lab tests showing the water is safe for consumption.
