Precautionary Boil Water Notice for North Beach Service Area in Vilano Beach

Primary Cause:  Break at the Water Plant

(St. Augustine, FL– March 11, 2026) – A precautionary boil water notice is in effect for the all of the St. Johns County customers in the North Beach Service area of Vilano Beach. 

Under the Precautionary Boil Water Notice, all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes should be boiled first. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative bottled water may be used.

The Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until lab tests show that the water is safe to drink and a retraction notice is posted, which is typically a minimum of two days.
