(Ponte Vedra, FL– January 4, 2026) – A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for the above addresses in Ponte Vedra serviced by the St. Johns County Utility Department due to a water main break.
Under the Precautionary Boil Water Notice, all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes should be boiled first. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. As an alternative bottled water may be used.
The Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until lab tests show that the water is safe to drink and a retraction notice is posted, which is typically a minimum of two days.
