Retraction of Precautionary Boil Water Notice for Fruit Cove in St. Johns County

Lab tests show water is safe for consumption

St. Johns County, FL, August 30, 2025 – A Retraction Notice has been issued to lift the original Precautionary Boil Water Notice for Fruit Cove. The addresses affected include:

1211, 1225, 1237 & 1249 Hidden Oaks Place

The St. Johns County Utility Department has completed lab tests showing the water is safe for consumption. The boil water notice had been in effect since August 28th following a broken service line.

Door tags were used to notify the residents affected by this Boil Water Notice Retraction.  Citizens may call the Department’s Boil Water Notice Hotline at (904) 209-2731 for additional information or visit the Department’s website at www.sjcutility.us.
