Lab tests show water is safe for consumption

(St. Augustine Beach, FL, February 27, 2026) – A Retraction Notice has been issued to lift the original Precautionary Boil Water Notice for the St. Augustine by the Sea subdivision on Anastasia Island. The addresses affected include:

All of Surf Drive

All of Ocean Drive

The St. Johns County Utility Department has completed lab tests showing the water is safe for consumption. The boil water notice had been in effect since February 25th following a service line break.

Alert St. Johns was used to notify the residents affected by this Boil Water Notice Retraction.  Citizens may call the Department’s Boil Water Notice Hotline at (904) 209-2731 for additional information or visit the Department’s website at www.sjcutility.us.
