Lab tests show water is safe for consumption

St. Augustine, FL, March 13, 2026 – A Retraction Notice has been issued to lift the original Precautionary Boil Water Notice for the following address:

All St. Johns County customers in the North Beach Service Area

The St. Johns County Utility Department has completed lab tests showing the water is safe for consumption. The boil water notice had been in effect since March 11th following a break at the water plant.

Alert St. Johns calls were used to notify the facilities affected by this Boil Water Notice Retraction.  Citizens may call the Department’s Boil Water Notice Hotline at (904) 209-2731 for additional information or visit the Department’s website at www.sjcutility.us.

Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly (for example, people in apartments, nursing homes, schools, and businesses). You can do this by posting this notice in a public place or distributing copies by hand or mail.
