Retraction of Precautionary Boil Water Notice for SR 16 and IGP in St. Augustine

Lab tests show water is safe for consumption

St. Augustine, FL, May 9, 2026 – A Retraction Notice has been issued to lift the original Precautionary Boil Water Notice for the SR 16 and IGP area. The addresses affected include:

• 5330, 5350, 5360 and 5380 State Road 16

The St. Johns County Utility Department has completed lab tests showing the water is safe for consumption. The boil water notice had been in effect since May 6th following a water main relocation due to intersection improvements.
