Retraction of Precautionary Boil Water Notice – SR16 in St. Augustine

(St. Augustine, FL – December 21, 2025) – A Retraction Notice has been issued to lift the original Precautionary Boil Water Notice for St. Augustine. The addresses affected included:

1654 – 1965 SR 16

The St. Johns County Utility Department has completed lab tests showing the water is safe for consumption. The boil water notice had been in effect since December 19th following a contractor hitting a water line.

Door tags were used to notify the residents affected by this Boil Water Notice Retraction. Citizens may call the Department’s Boil Water Notice Hotline at (904) 209-2731 for additional information or visit the Department’s website at www.sjcutility.us.
