Flood Mitigation Assistance Workshops – St. Johns County and City of St. Augustine

Learn More About the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Home Elevation Grants
The City of St. Augustine and St. Johns County, in coordination with their consultant, Quality Engineering and Surveying (QES), LLC, will offer three homeowner outreach meetings for residents interested in participating in the 2025 Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) funding application submittal.
All St. Johns County residents, including City of St. Augustine residents, are welcome to attend any of the three homeowner outreach meetings. There will be a brief presentation with time for questions and one-on-one discussions with the consultant. Three meetings are being offered:
Southeast Branch Library
- Wednesday, August 13 at 3:00 pm
Southeast Branch Library, 6670 US 1 South
Alcazar Room at City Hall
- Thursday, August 14 at 12:00 pm
- Thursday, August 14 at 5:30 pm
Alcazar Room of City Hall, 75 King Street
Residents interested in the 2025 FMA submittal program are encouraged to attend these important informational meetings. QES will not collect or review any documentation until after these initial meetings. In the meantime, residents should confirm they have an active National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) Flood Policy and a current elevation certificate for their property.
It is important to note these meetings will cover only the current 2025 Application Cycle; however, applicants currently participating in a previous FMA grant submittal who have questions should contact Andy Daray, QES Project Manager, at adaray@QESLA.com.
