St. Johns County New Year’s Holiday Office Hours
St. Johns County is announcing the following holiday office hours and solid waste collection updates for public awareness.
New Year’s Holiday Office Hours
Board of County Commissioners, Supervisor of Elections, Tax Collector, Property Appraiser
All departments of the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners, administrative offices, libraries and bookmobiles, the Supervisor of Elections Office, the Property Appraiser’s Office, and the Tax Collector’s Office will be closed Thursday, January 1, and Friday, January 2, in observance of the New Year’s holiday.
Clerk of Courts
The Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller’s Office will be closed January 1.
Libraries
St. Johns County libraries will resume regular business hours on Saturday, January 3, and all other offices will resume regular business hours on Monday, January 5.
Garbage, Recycling, and Yard Waste
Garbage, recycling, and yard waste will NOT be collected on January 1. Beginning January 2, collections will be delayed one day, with all routes being completed by January 3.
The Tillman Ridge and Stratton Road solid waste scale houses will be closed January 1 and will resume standard operating hours on January 2.
Additionally, residents can download the Recycle Coach app or visit the Solid Waste web page to obtain curbside collection schedules, sign up for alerts, and quickly learn how to properly dispose of different household waste materials.
Christmas Holiday Office Hours
Board of County Commissioners, Supervisor of Elections, Tax Collector, Property Appraiser
All departments of the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners, administrative offices, libraries and bookmobiles, the Supervisor of Elections Office, the Property Appraiser’s Office, and the Tax Collector’s Office will be closed Wednesday, December 24, through Friday, December 26, in observance of the Christmas holiday.
Clerk of Courts
The Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller’s Office will be closed December 25 and December 26.
Libraries
St. Johns County libraries will resume regular business hours on Saturday, December 27, and all other offices will resume regular business hours on Monday, December 29.
