SJC Cultural Events, Inc. Donates $80,120 to the County’s Land Conservation Efforts
During the November 5, 2024, St. Johns County Board of County Commissioner’s Meeting, the SJC Cultural Events, Inc. made a presentation followed by an $80,120 donation to the County’s land conservation program (LAMP).
In their donation letter, they wrote:
On behalf of SJC Cultural Events Inc. and Sing Out Loud Festival, it is our great honor to present a check in the amount of $80,120 to the St. Johns County Land Acquisition Management Program (LAMP) in support of your ongoing efforts to conserve and protect natural landscapes within St. Johns County. The funds, raised through ticket sales at Sing Out Loud Festival, symbolize the collective commitment of our festival attendees. artists and partners toward safeguarding the unique and invaluable landscapes and ecosystems that make St. Johns County a remarkable place to live, work, and explore.
Sing Out Loud Festival is about more than just music. We are dedicated to harnessing the energy and connectivity of live music to bring awareness of the beauty and value of wild Florida and the critical need for its protection. By supporting LAMP’s mission of acquiring and conserving lands that enhance or promote ecological communities, green space, water resources, outdoor passive recreation and additional activities, this donation aims to play a meaningful role in protecting these precious resources for generations to come.
