St. Johns County Launches Plans for Inaugural Legislative Day on February 5, 2026

The County seeks community partners and stakeholders to participate in the effort to generate state-wide awareness for St. Johns County.
On February 5, 2026, St. Johns County will descend upon the state Capitol in Tallahassee for the County’s inaugural “St. Johns County Legislative Day”, a premier advocacy event during the annual legislative session. During this one-day event, a united delegation of community leaders, business owners, and vested partners will provide an immersive showcase of St. Johns County.
St. Johns County Day will be an interactive experience featuring the history, great food, and exclusive entertainment unique to St. Johns County for the legislative body to touch and witness personally. This will set the stage for the County to advocate for policies and funding that strengthen the local economy, improve infrastructure, and enhance the quality of life in its growing community.
The County’s Office of Intergovernmental Affairs is spearheading the efforts of St. Johns County Day along with its flagship partners: the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce, the City of St. Augustine, and the City of St. Augustine Beach.
“Our mission is to foster civic engagement, build key legislative relationships, and promote public-private collaboration to ensure the voices of St. Johns County are heard at the state level,” Intergovernmental Affairs Assistant Director Joel Sneed said. “This is our opportunity to showcase the vibrant culture, thriving industries, and unique character of St. Johns County directly to state lawmakers.”
Partnership opportunities are extended to businesses and individuals throughout the community who are invested in the community’s success. Since the event is free and open to the public, everyone is invited to attend. To learn more and find out how to get involved in “St. Johns County Day,” please visit www.StJohnsCountyDay.com.
