St. Johns County Hosting Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for North Beach Park

When: Friday, January 9, 2026, 1 p.m.

Where: 3721 Coastal Highway, Vilano Beach

What: St. Johns County will celebrate the completion of a $2.1 million project that renovated and completely redesigned North Beach Park, adding the following improvements:

  • New restroom building
  • New changing area
  • New playground with a shade cover
  • Expanded and improved parking (20 more spaces)
  • New one-way wraparound layout
  • Upgraded walking trail

Who: Confirmed participants include:

  • Ann Taylor, Vice-Chair and District 5 Representative of the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners
  • Ryan Kane, Director of the St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department
