WHEREAS, Knights of Columbus First Florida Council 611 has faithfully served the community of St. Augustine and St. Johns County for 125 years through charitable works, volunteer service, civic leadership, and support of local families and parishes since 1901; and

WHEREAS, members of Knights of Columbus First Florida Council 611 have demonstrated enduring commitment to the principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism through outreach to the poor, assistance to veterans, support for seminarians and youth programs, and participation in community service initiatives; and

WHEREAS, the Council’s longstanding dedication has positively impacted countless residents of St. Johns County and strengthened the civic and spiritual fabric of the Nation’s Oldest City; and

WHEREAS,the 125^th Anniversary of Knights of Columbus First Florida Council 611 is a fitting occasion to honor the organization’s historic contributions and enduring legacy.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED, by the Board of County Commissioners of St. Johns County, Florida, that October 2026 be recognized as the
